Job Title: Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP)

Job Type: 12 month contract

Nkhophele is looking for a EAP with knowledge in Environmental Impact Assessment to join our team. The candidate must be familiar with NEMA,  NEM: WA, NEM:AQA and WULA processes and associated legislation.

  • Compile Environmental Screening and Scoping reports
  • Completion of EIA and BAR.
  • Environmental Audits
  • Compilation of Environmental Management Plans
  • Environmental Compliance Monitoring (ECO)
  • Mining Application
  • Water Use License Application
  • Application for mineral rights
  • Compiling  of project proposal and costing
  • Liaise appropriately with Competent Authorities, specialists and sub-consultants
  • Provide weekly project updates
  • Create project sensitivity maps
  • Project management and budgeting 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A four (4) year tertiary qualification in Environmental Management or related
  • Minimum three (3) years working experience in a construction, mining or consulting company.
  • Registered with EAPASA as a proffesional.
  • The ability to work in a team and independently, as required.
  • Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills
  • Code B Driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Deadline orientated
